Adobe lightroom 2.1

I have downloaded the trial of this program prior to a possible purchase at some time.

First impressions are that it appears to be fairly easy to find ones way around, but the drawback is your computer needs at least 4 gig of RAM to make the program run smoothly.

I first tried it on a computer with only 2 gig of RAM and it was hopeless, it jerked on every action, but when I tried it on my other computer with the 4gig RAM it was fine.

Ok it doesn't do everything but the most common tasks are there but it is after all half the price of Adobe CS4. I understand that getting Adobe Elements is the program to go with it.

Couple of other things I have noticed with playing with the program for a couple of hours is that you can print straight from the program which is helpful
But i would have liked to see a "SAVE" button, you have to go to "export" which seems to me a bit strange.

Would I buy it? the door is still open on that but it is far easier than the Nikon NX original version which I have. Give me the 30 day free trial time first of lightroom.
