Day out at Blickling Hall.

Had a lovely full day out at Blickling Hall, weather a little mixed.

1) Daffodils or Narcissi?

2) Blicking Hall parterre gardens with lake in the background.

3) Magnolia Stellata and friends?

4) Treecreeper. This little blighter has been bugging me for weeks, I've seen so many the last few weeks but have not been able to get a decent shot. At last a half decent one.

5) The house from The Temple.

6) Robin with a worm

Re: Day out at Blickling Hall.

Good series Richard, looks as though you had an interesting day out, like number 5, nicely framed and good exposure.

Thank you for the kind comments Shirley and Ken. It was a lovely day, we spent about 6 hours there all together.

Thaks Mossy, you don't know how pleased I was to get a half decent shot of the treecreeper.

Re: Day out at Blickling Hall.

Richard, you should have a walk round RSPB Strumpshaw, there's always treecreepers there (lots of other birds too!) It's a lovely place, it's also fairly good for Kingfishers, always guarenteed to see Marsh Harriers too

Re: Day out at Blickling Hall.

Tina I was at Strumpshaw a few months ago. Spotting Treecreepers hasn't been the problem, I've seen loads, the little blighters move to fast or round the back of the trees. Will also be visiting Titchwell and Minsmere. making them hard to capture.

Laura, thanks for your kind comments.
