Textures

I have started getting into textures and here are my latest efforts in CS3

Do you like textures?

They look nice Mel - I think they can be easily change the works to traditional art, from photography tho.

The second pleases me a good deal, like the angle of the shot to start with and the 'treatment' does not distract from the form of the flower at all, the texture enhances the feel of the shot. Not so sure about the first the texture finish seems to make the beautiful flower look distressed, that may be what you wished but I like the second a lot.

You know I love textures

Melody, I prefer the gerbera, the shot and the colour, work well with the texture. I do like the first, but the second one works better.

I love the treatment - great how you have still left the definition in while diffusing the images. I'm very much struck with the 2nd one (I dont know what a Gerbera is! LOL)

LOL I found out how to do these only this evening I used two pics that I have had on Flickr for ages , just to play with

Meant to say ..I am going to try some others next weekend so keep an eye open
