DoF is great in #2. Im cr@p at swan shots as they always try to eat me!!

Nice shots Azz.
I actually like no 1. I think it would look good cropped tight on the swans, and changed into a portrait frame, rather than a landscape.

Funny you should mention that about it attacking you K... I think I startled it as it was merrily paddling down and then looked my way and saw me
It start to make these funny quack noises but I braved it out in the interest of photography! But was half expecting to have to get up and run 
I really need to get out earlier in the day, have noticed this 55-200 needs more light than my 18-55 does :-/
