So Annoyed!!

Gggrrr i am so annoyed!!

I have a photo shoot today and have charged up all my batteries for the 400D and went to charge up my 5D battery last night and i can't find it!! I have searched everywhere! Luckily i have the AA battery part of my 5D grip so will be stopping by the petrol station on my way there, but not only is the battery missing the batter holder to my grip is missing too.

Do any of you know if i can buy a new holder for the battery without buying a whole new grip!! It will be a last resort as i need to keep looking for this battery!! Hence why i am glad i kept the 400D batteries on charge too!!

Not only have i lost the battery... the dogs are driving me crazy and have been chewing up sticks in the house whilst my back was turned so the floor now looks like a lumber jack yard!! There is mud everywhere too!!!

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! Lets just say the dogs are now avoiding me!!

Re: So Annoyed!!

I am such a ditz!!!

After searching and getting all hot and bothered i canlled James and asked him if he had seen the battery and holder and my memory cards... i have them all in a holder and last time i saw them was with the battery!!

He said "The grip doesn't have a holder for the 5D battery, only the AA holder and have you checked the bag that was on the table?" which is now on the stairs and has washing in to go upstairs to be put away.... and there they were!! Sitting there mocking my stupidity!

I am so used to having a holder for the batteries in the grip for the 400D i completely forgot that the 5D doesn't have one!!! Duuuuuhhhhh!!

Still crisis over, battery on charge, off to empty memory cards for my client at 2.30!!! At least the car is now clean as i grabbed a bin bag to throw out all the rubbish and un-knotted all our dog leads and harnesses LOL LOL!!

Re: So Annoyed!!

Photoshoot went fab!! Had loads of fun with it as it was a motorbike shoot and a very shiny one at that!!

The bad part was when i was leaving and i managed to reverse my nice new truck into a tree only minor denting on the tail and luckily it hasn't creased so will take it apart tomorrow and push the dent out

Re: So Annoyed!!

We were going to do the shoot over at Slyfield Industrial Estate but the building that was empty about a week ago is now occupied so didn't want to do the shoot outside it... so we went up to the cathedral... didn't use it as my backdrop though as it didn't work... ended up using the wall as a backdrop as it is old and worn with the bike being so new also took some shots in front of some shipping containers... will take a look at the pictures in a minute and see how they turned out. I may have to re-shoot at the estate on a Saturday early morning. My friend/client said he would be up for that too

Still bummed about my dent though i just couldn't see the tree in my mirrors as it was dead centre to the truck and with dog cages and 2 dogs with Huuuugggeeee ears siting up in the back i couldn't see through the rear window either!!
