Sundown

Last night the sky looked threatening at the front of my home -

and no better at the side,

however at the back over the dogs field it was a sky that promised a glorious Monday and indeed the field was correct it is a lovely Monday morning.

Re: Sundown

I'm a sky kind of guy so I love the colorful sunset skies you captured. I'm most impress with the third photo. That shot makes me want to attempt to bring out more detail in the bushes. Do you shoot in RAW mode. If so the detail is there. I'm just not sure that it would improve the results. Good work Snapper.

Re: Sundown

Hi Bob, I do sometimes with the Pentax but just checked the data and I took that with the Nikon P & S so it is jpeg. Thing is I keep the Nikon on my desk, saw the sky and went pointed and shot, not much finesse to it really, sorry.

Taken a look at it in Elements can lift the shadow a bit but there is nothing in the centre of the bushes on the left they are totally unexposed but I can get more detail in the right hand side of the shot.
