Looking pretty silky.

When you don't need that extra length I suspect it's quite liberating using it after the Bigma.

I think it is one of Nikon better "consumer" lenses, I did upgrade to the VR version and Phil had my non VR copy

I'm thinking of going to the VR one eventually, maybe, but it's not high on my list of priorities - I still want the prime 300mm. This really is just an 'urgent' buy, so I don't break my back every time I leave the house! And yes, it's very liberating after that dratted giant lens! ;D

Those are great Laura, well done indeed!!! I like the Goosey ones, for me they are beautifully lit, they may be a little dark for some, but I love them!

Looks like a good buy, I like the Goose shots too, they are maybe slightly to dark for my taste, but because the light is so gorgeous it doesn't detract from them xxxx
