Eric's First Beach Visit

Eric is a former co-worker at Intel Corp. He moved here to Oregon four years ago from Hawaii and now finds himself laid off just like me. He doesn't own a motorized vehicle but prefers to take a train, bus, or bicycle. He walks a lot as well.

He's never really been to any of the scenic places like me so I drove him to Canon Beach to see Haystack Rock and the beach. He had a ball, especially the 70 mile drive there in my Smart car.

Eric's a nice guy who just had his wife walk out on him. I knew he needed to take a break & get out of town. We'll try and do more of this kind of road trip. It'll take his mind of negative stuff.

During a record low tide last year folks could actually walk out to that cave in the middle. I was about to post a photo of that low tide crossing but SmugMug is down.

I've been married 3 times myself. One wife physically disappeared off the planet, the second wife slept around on me and the thir I'm in the process of canning right now. I know what Eric's going through. He has nobody here in the states to call a friend except me. Friends are hard to come by & special to me.

Re: Eric's First Beach Visit

Indeed most people have only a few really good 'true' friends.

I love the second pic and would like to see some close up he has an interesting face.

The third is great......................that sky is wonderful.
