Checked out the EXIF info (from photoshop) and sure enough the light source = tungsten.

Yes the detail on the underside has bridge had 'burned out' but that's a result of me going for far more contrast. Thought it had a bit more 'punch' that way.

Yes - I thought that might be the reason I have used it deliberately since then to get the effect, but it is a pain if you do it without realising!

Love the black and white version so it pays to make mistakes if you can end up with an image like that
