Re: Lens Problem

Was not talking of you, I know one should check the contacts but still forget when I have a lens problem, that is what I meant it should be obvious to me but even so I too fly into a panic.

I know, funny that really, about the house and in a emergency I am cool and calm but if a piece of equipment plays up I will try everything but what should have been obvious.

If my PC goes wrong I will spend hours trying to sort it out where as my OH turns it off and says perhaps it will work in the morning, sickening thing is very often it does.

Re: Lens Problem

I bought a 55-200mm Nikon zoom with my Nikon D40X camera. I discovered a week ago it won't autofocus. I e-mailed customer service at Nikon and received an e-mail saying there was a link online explaining how to return faulty Nikon products. Azz mention in your area Nikon offers a 2 year warranty.

I suggest you get on Canan's website and go through the same process to contact their customer service. They are a very reputable vendor and would be glad to assist you. "Don't sweat the small stuff, it's ALL small stuff"...
