I love my D40! and the fuji s5 pro is a top cam' too! I'm eyeing one up at the mo'! ideal for the weddings!

I couldn't afford to buy a camera outright so went to Currys as I was able to pay their deposit and the 10 monthly payments afterwards, it was the only way that I was going to get my camera without having to wait an age!

Don't forget Canon also make excellent cameras and generally are a little cheaper than Nikon. I would say fix your maximum price you want to pay ,then look at all makes and what lenses cost for those makes.
