Re: Olympus E 510

Oh no, just when I thought things were going too well, we get hit with a load of bills which just wiped put my DSLR fund, however, one of the lads walked into work last in a worst post xmas state than me and offered me this for buttons so Ive at last joined the ranks of the digital photographer has anyone used one ? I beleive they get a good write up,Leica lens and panasonic build quality sounds like a good combo to me.

Re: Olympus E 510

So does that mean they changed their mind?

I'd personally stick with the Olympus out of the two options - but as you say the fund has been wiped out... maybe wait till next month...

No idea why he changed his mind havent seen him since, however as its me birthday next the wife has just announced she has bought me a Panasonic FZ8. Leica lens , 7.1 megapixels, RAW mode, plus a few other bits and bobs, looks like the Olympus is on hold for now.
