What do they taste like in say a sandwich? and do you have to add spices or sauce to add to the flavour?

I expect they'd be tough! maybe lightly fried in olive oil and tossed into a salad (in chunks of course! )...

Thanks Tina - he is a gorgeous rat, but yes, he's very brown (though actually, I must confess - not so agouti as these photos make him look ). A lot of the agouti based rats in our line are very brown at the moment - it is something we're trying to work on, but currently my main focus is still on sorting out the health of the silvers. I'm trying to keep an eye to the show standard too, but atm that's of little importance to me now that I hardly show! As long as the type and health is continuing to improve, for now I'm happy with it!
