Chuck - the old man...

My mum has been wanting a photo of our old man Chuck for a while now. I got some before Xmas - but the other day I got lucky with this shot. Chuck's a bit doddery now, and you rarely get a chance to photograph him looking alert and interested as soon as you get the camera out he goes all flat eared for some reason!

Anyway - I am very happy with this shot, and I know mum will love it too I know someone will say something about the collar but I love it. He's always had red collars - so a black lab in a red collar is always a 'Chucky dog' It's a part of him!

xx

ETA - wanted to add tags, but can't for some reason Was taken with the D80 and the 18-135mm.

Re: Chuck - the old man...

Thank you all! I was really proud of it, so it's nice to know others like it too

Of course, I am more than open to C&C - I want it perfect as I want it blown up and framed for her birthday *hopes she's not reading this*!

Azz - when I went back to edit there was no option for tags at all :/

Re: Chuck - the old man...

This is a superber shot of a lovely old black dog, technically strong.

Like the background, think it is the ground that has slid satisfyingly out of focus and the light is spot on, great attention to detail and no unwanted bits and bobs, well done you Mum could not help but be delighted.

Re: Chuck - the old man...

Fab shot! and well done, as so many people say how hard it is to photograph black dogs.

He looks in wonderful condition too, and I always love Red collars on black dogs. xx
