Dark pics on the D40
After taking loads of pics with the new d40x I have found that when using Auto most of my pics come out a tad dark.
This is not a great prob and a tiny adjustment and everthing cool, but it is a bit annoying.
Is there something I can do to remedy this?

What is the exposure compensation set to Jols and what type of metering are you using? Could be to do with those 2 things.

Think you can change the exp comp that Ste mentioned - look for it in the manual, as I'm sure I read it there.
I thought you were using Rockwells settings anyway? If so you'll be shooting in 'P' mode

i thought you cant change anything in auto ?
i will have to check that out Not got camera with me at mo but my auto is a tad too bright!
