Isn't that theft? What's there legal right to do that?

They don't have that right, and yes it is theft, i am still fighting to have MY camera back and have asked for the details of the repair place so i can contact them directly, they said they will call me this week and as of yet i haven't heard anything. I went to the store on Monday as they said that they were opening for one day to give back the stuff to the customers... mine wasn't there!!

I was told that after the creditors have had their share out of what is left then i may not be entitled to anything, but i have said it is MY property and i want it back!!

As you can tell i am very angry about this and i am not letting it drop! Although i have a feeling they have lost my camera!

Thanks guys, its getting ridiculous... its ridiculous that they have had the camera since April and i am still waiting for it! Trouble is i still have to pay for any repairs which is a kick in the teeth! which is why i want to speak to the repair guy as i will pay his fee but not the added price that Photo Optix add on top!

I would be happy to pay the original agreed price, so long as they've fixed it.. I'd just want my camera back before it may be too late.

Wonder if the police can get involved because it is theft!

This may sound silly but have you contacted your insurance company to see if your covered. They may cover you and then take it up with the company themselves. Could be worth a try.
