Re: Lines and Curves

OI YOU IN THE RED COAT, LOOK OUT THAT BUILDING IS ABOUT TO FALL ON YOU...oh no it isn't my mistake

Yes it looks very interesting, the straight edges and curves all make up a cool image. If it was my shot I probably would have cloned out the person in the red top (unless it is someone you know, or you even )

The sky and brick colours look really nice too.

Alan.

Re: Lines and Curves

Like the perspective and the architectural aspect of the picture. I guess I would like to see it in cliche black and white just to be sure colour is best. I think the picture could work with someone in shot but the size and positioning doesn't look right in this instance. There seems to be an added streak effect on the sky that doesn't look 'right' on my monitor.

Re: Lines and Curves

Really like this one.

I agree - the converging verticals suit the picture but i think that's true with a lot of wide angle shots.

I remember going to this library a few times as a kid. We used to shut the really big books as hard as we could as it created a really good booming echo. Now I think of it, that must have been really irritating !

Re: Lines and Curves

You are really getting great value from your 10-20. I like this image, with distortions - when I look up and down the alleyway I feel giddy! Nice job.

I like the two people in the picture too.
