Is this your daughter Suzi? Have to say she is a lovely model and I think you did a good job, they are not the run of the mill and each has interest. Not sure what you did about the lighting but it is unobtrusive and flattering, a pleasing set.
Must say I envy you your pretty model, Mr Snaps just can't match up and he has not even got loads of wrinkles to make up for not being a young girl.

But, I want to do a lot more child/family portraiture, so I need a model to practise on
as I really haven't done much portrait stuff.I am glad you like the lighting, it is natural light, outside, mid afternoon, and in some of the shots I used my reflector, I like natural shots for kids. I took too many though and still have a lot to go through
If we lived closer we could of done a swap, I would love to take Mr Snaps portrait, he has a fab face!

Yes I have, and I did use it for some of the shots I took.
