Surprised at how well the edit has come out (although feel the eyes are a little overcooked), wasn't quite sure on the angle in the original (don't think it shows her best side?) but the edit did surprise me!

I agree with Azz, the skin is good, and while the eyes will benefit from a little sharpening, I think they are a little too sharp now, but it is a personal preference thing, and each to their own.

That's a great shot Moon.
The lighting is very soft and natural plus your subject helps by looking so laid back.

hope you don't mind mooniepos but I had a little edit myself! tryed the same sort of thing as JR but using CS3 I just dodged the iris of both eyes and burned the pupils and the dark outer ring of the Iris lightend her skin tones and slightly blured the bricks to try and bring her forward. hope you like

Lovely shot..I must try some of my kids soon. Hoping the nifty fifty might appear for my birthday on Saturday as Santa forgot to pop one in my stocking.My 13 year old is a little camera shy though. I may do better with my youngest.
I like the natural shot rather than the editied one. I do like the edit Finbar did though regarding the brickwork.
