Marussia

Had a little ride out on my mountain bike today and took a camera with me.

Thought you might like to see this very rare Russian supercar.

They had just finished getting it out of the transporter, so I took a few quick shots of it.

Re: Marussia

Hmmm...never really thought about a Russian supercar before. Most of the time their engineering seems to be a bit belt and braces (space programme) and copies of someone elses stuff (TU-144 Concorde-ski). I don't know anything about them but i wouldn't be suprised to find either top-secret bluprints from Cosworth or BMW on a Russian desk! Maybe it's a collaboration. Looks good though...better than all those communist built Ladas, Wartburgs, trabants of years gone by!

I totally agree about the engineering, in the past their stuff has always been a bit agricultural by western standards. But lately they seem to have caught up.

Thanks Azz

Not the best colours to photograph in direct sunlight, and the irony was I took the flash out of my back-pack to make it lighter to carry.

There were some other lovely cars there too, I'll try and post some up later.
