Are you talking about the large pinkish lumps on its hind legs? If so then they are just his pollen sacs (baskets) - he had obviously had a good day

Great pics, I've been snapping away at Damsel flies like in the first 2 pics, but none came out anywhere near that good, I love the last pic, the red colour and details are amazing also love the Ladybird shot, you can even see the blackfly clearly
