Re: A few from the british wildlife center.

Been there myself on one of their closed to public days and open for pre booked photographers. Those foxes are so friendly ( you go into the compound with them and other animals) and the chances to get really good photos of the other animals is something not to be missed.

It was like this when I was there

Re: A few from the british wildlife center.

Thanks for moving the thread Ken. It,s the first time I have been to the british wildlife center and is certainly worth a trip. as Bazza said they do days when it's closed to the public and open to photography...

I went for the practice, as I am off on my twice yearly trip to the middle of nowhere in the highlands in a few weeks and thought the practice on the squirrels here might help me out with the really fast moving one's in Scotland.

here is another from yesterday.

Bazza, sadly I cant say it was quite like your photo for us yesterday, ....so what we found worked best was wait until the keeper had done his talks and everone had moved on, then we waited for the animals to do their own thing (sadly we had to shoot through the fencing as well) and the catch them ...

Fantastic stuff Steve, made all the more so considering you were shooting through fencing too.

Re: A few from the british wildlife center.

Great pictures. I especailly love the water vole, such lovely creatures.

Looks like a fab place to visit, I'm going to try and get there sometime this year. I'd definitely like to do a photography day there. I'm very tempted to do the photographic afternoon and evening on Thurs 5th July and the British Owls day on Fri 6th. Have to see if I can tempt somebody to come with me.
