Re: sparkling ring

I know that you're " just a newbie " Liann, and that you don't have much experience using a camera, but I'll tell you what....you're using your imagination like an artist would, and can actually see the pictures in your mind before you take them.
If you keep taking those " sneaky snaps " when no one's looking, and keep practicing, you'll be blowing us away with them in no time.

I like the concept of this shot. Great idea!

I really do look forward to seeing more of your work

Re: sparkling ring

Agree very much with MD - you are doing brilliantly and are doing what all photographers should - use their imagination when composing photographs!

I really like that shot - it's fantastic!

Re: sparkling ring

Nice concept, if this was your first shot then i look forward to seeing more... yes the horizon could be straighter but nothing than a bit of rotation can't sort

Re: sparkling ring

I actually like the fact that the horizon is just slightly off. I wouldn't worry about it. Like Sam said, you can rotate the image very easily if you had to, but I think it adds to the idea of spontaneity in the shot. Any more off centre, and it may become a distraction, but I like it.

Nice shot
