Re: Our trip to Leeds :)

First of all ,you got sun in Whitby???? every time I've been it's been raining.

Some really great shots, love the Goathland shot no3, you captured the remote beauty of the place. Really like no11, and the harbour shots are nice especially no 14. Also, really like no7, the lamp post isn't too annoying, and I think if you converted it too mono, you could really get the most out the clouds above the people.

Re: Our trip to Leeds :)

A good set of photos, especially those of Whitby, looked a little quiet but picked the right day for it weather wise. Some wonderful scenery to be had up over the pennines and great views, always worth going over on the A640, M62 is always crazy busy and you do not get much chance to take in the scenery.

Re: Our trip to Leeds :)

Thanks all

@MS - you know - for some odd reason, it never occurred to me to put them in Mono! Will give that a go when I fix my PC! *sigh* I too really liked number 7 (I actually like the lamppost!) - but it just doesn't 'pop' to me - so I guess a bit more fiddling is in order!

@LnS - thanks - am phobic of the M62 - can't take photos... too busy trying not to die of fright! horrible road!

@NS - Eee - glad it's recognisable! I love Whitby <3

Re: Our trip to Leeds :)

I am not surprised as it has to be one of the worst stretches of motorway in the country, people drive like they are possessed up there.

Re: Our trip to Leeds :)

Thanks Stu - there were a fair few about when we were there - but actually far far less than I was thinking there would be, especially considering it was the middle of August :/ I felt a bit sad for Whitby really - looked like they were struggling to get tourism, and a town like that must rely so heavily on it...

Re: Our trip to Leeds :)

Those landscapes with the purpley flowers/heather (sorry, rubbish at nature stuff...went to a comprehensive !), ...i reckon you could do some PP work and enhance those colours to make a couple of quite nice landscapes...3 particularly.
