Camera exhibitions

Anyone around the midlands area may be interested in " Focus on Imaging" at the NEC late February.
This is one of the major shows for professionals and amateurs alike. entrance fee and registration can be done online.

The exhibition covers everything one could possibly think of and give you a chance to buy/examine photographic equipment as we as being able to talk to the manufactures representatives against normally a shop assistant.

I can thoroughly recommend a visit if even only to have a look.

Re exhibition

Re: Camera exhibitions

Interested in this year in a circular polarizer filter and maybe a new tripod and head if money will allow me. Great advantage is I can talk to the experts who will freely give advice on which product is best for my needs.

Last year I did quiet well with a purchase of a Peli 1600 camera case at nearly half price including the foam inserts.

I would suggest anyone going to get there around the time the doors open, as by midday it does tend to get a bit crowded, not that you can't get to see eveything, but its easier earlier on.

My Manageress who is also into photography is going with me as usual, I am this year under strict instructions not to follow the models, even if one or two are in grass skirts like last year.
Don't know if you are allowed to take photos so shan't be taking camera, anyway I am there to view, hopefully learn and possibly buy.
