Eek - it's a self portrait

Thought I'd have a go at a picture of myself - Is it just me that feels odd doing this ?

Anyway - I was holding the camera in one hand and trying to make something of the bright evening sunshine through the window frame.

I think the highlight is a bit odd and I've lost my blue eyes but apart from that I was happy to post it.

It's been through P'shop although I've forgotten what I did. Something like - remove a curly nose hair, create a duplicate layer, make the layer B&W, darken the B&W layer right down, set the layer as an obverlay and then reduce the saturation of the original colour layer.

Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 20 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Re: Eek - it's a self portrait

I really like this!!! Love the Processing, it works well with your clothing, and who would of guessed you had colours written on your wall, it is really nicely done! It's nice light, coming through that window too.

No offence to lovely Breagh, but think this would make a funkier new avatar!

Re: Eek - it's a self portrait

Thanks

The colours have been in the spare room from when it used to be Hannah's baby bedroom. It was Elmer themed.
