Snowy peaks

After an hour or so on the road today I realised I'd left my tripod at home.

Not looked at all my pictures yet but I was a bit miffed at being restricted to handheld shots as I wanted to do some slower exposure stuff with water.

It was bright snow with clear blue sky early in the day so I'd hoped that having fast shutter speeds would have been OK. By the afternoon it had clouded over so I'm not holding out much hope for those.

Anyway here's a few of the ones I've not 'binned' so far.

You wouldn't believe how 'miffed' I was Azz.

I'd taken a day off work to go to the places I'd already been to in the hope of improving on my previous best efforts. Without a tripod I knew (with the light we had today) there was no way I was going manage that.

Once I'd picked my dummy up off the floor it was actually quite liberating.

Whilst I know the tripod would have resulted in better pics, they would probably be the same old pics. Today, without It's burdon I've scrambled about and found some great new places where next time (providing I remember the tripod) I'll be able to get some brand new stuff.

Every cloud and all that.......
