Brought back the memory of my grandson's dog, Dobber ( a yellow Lab, of considerable size). After a very heavy rain storm he went out in the yard, then under water, stuck his head under the water and brought out a limb that had fallen off the hickory tree and fetched it to the porch. Quite a carry as the branch was twice as long as the dog! And he expected one of us to throw it for him! We got a good laugh out of that, although Dobber was not happy that we didn't throw that limb or did he think we were laughing at him? Good pictures and tell a story of a small dog trying to do good. I do not think he was interested in the stick, if you look close enough at the images i think he was trying to rescue that family of ants on it
