Crisp Point Life Saving Station

My hottie and I went to the Upper Penninsular to Paradise, MI to celebrate our anniversary. This light house, Crisp Point was 20 miles down a 2/track in the thick of the woods. The lighthouse keeper said that most people can't find this place so it stays pretty quite.

Re: Crisp Point Life Saving Station

Lovely set - what I would do for a stroll on that beach just now....

I really like the composition of number 2 but it doesn't have the quality of light the others have. I suspect there is room in there to perk it up a bit ?

Number 3 has some lovely light and the lines of the waves work really well.

Just need my shorts now !

Re: Crisp Point Life Saving Station

Thanks Phil! It was a really nice day for the UP in October. I made it up to I think 50 degrees (maybe!) but the sun was shining which definitely helps. On #2, I thought it was a little dark but I had a hard time (and this is kinda stupid) with the rocks in the left corner and couldn't decide if it gave it some definition or not. But I'm glad that you said that it could use a bit lighting up. Thanks!!

Re: Crisp Point Life Saving Station

Now these are what I call chocolate box pictures, not only inviting on the outside, even better on the inside. I used to only take one shot and one angle, slowly walking around my subjects now and finding lots of new ways to present a subject.

cheers Marion
