A place where angels walk

This graveyard is so nice and peaceful, it has a mixture of fairly recent graves with some very old ones. It has a nice feel to it, I can't explain it really.

Re: A place where angels walk

Aw I feel bad now

I only took ones that were really old, and I was chatting to an old man who was there "visiting his wife" and he agreed with me the older headstones the work that has gone into them is wonderful. I was very respectful.

Re: A place where angels walk

Lovely pictures, the black and white suits them well no. 3 is my favourite

I find graveyards very peaceful and tranquil places, I've taken pics in the graveyard before, but like you kept to the older gravestones, but even so, I felt as if I was intruding but am fascinated by them, however strange that may be, but I do like the old ones that are covered in Ivy or what ever

Re: A place where angels walk

You didn't offend me Jols.
I was more worried I may have offended anybody.

I am fascinated reading the inscriptions on them, and they are beautifully carved too.

It was my first time taking headstones. I never meant to be disrespectful, and I hope I wasn't.
