Fine Art Photography
A title for one of my academic essays is "What is fine art photography?" Is there such a thing? When does photography become art?

Ive seen arguments for and against photography being considered artistic. And there seems to be a number of definitions, all of them subjective as to what constitutes fine art.
My feeling is creativity in any genre can move an image into a fine art category, but what works for me might not work for others, im afraid its going to be hard to pin down.

Fine art photography refers to photographs that are created in accordance with the creative vision of the photographer as artist. Fine art photography stands in contrast to photojournalism, which provides a visual account for news events, and commercial photography, the primary focus of which is to advertise products or services.
There are no universally accepted definitions of the related terms "art photography", "artistic photography", and "fine art photography", as exemplified by definitions found in reference books, in scholarly articles, and on the Internet.

All photography is art!!
There is no such thing as fine art, as it is too subjective for one to define. What is fine art to me is not to another.
