Mosaic - may I join in?

Thought I would show you my efforts at Mosaic, taken at the excavations in Nora, Sardinia, November 2007.



This is not one of the most popular sites to visit in the area but I felt the experience you got was very powerful because not being an over popular visitor site you are allowed more freedom to investigate for yourself. Mind you I also enjoyed my visit to Herculaneum but in a different way.

I love this, I love Mosaics, I am a bit of a history geek never been to Sardinia, I bet it was amazing Okay, gushing now aren't I.

I'll see what I can find just for you MS, must say it is a strange feeling sitting in a room last occupied by the Romans.

I know exactly what you mean, I love Italy, I really want to move there when I am older, I love it.The history, the people, the foodand of course the weather

The very first time I went to Rome, I was totally overwhelmed I got inside the colosseum, and I had goosebumps all over and tears in my eyes because I had always wanted to go there since being really little. Every time I go to Italy I am just in awe of all the magnificent Roman relics and remains. Okay, gushing again I just love it, I am lucky to live so close to Chester, as that has loads of Roman history. Going geeky again, I shall stop. Sorry snapper, lovely picture.

Loved Sardinia but found the population of Sicily far from friendly. No seen much of the main land so can't comment.

Oh! Azz, I wish, imagine being skilled enough to produce something like that. The chips are so small and one can't imagine the labour that when into something so lovely.
