thanks for the kind words.

you see my dad and brother are driving down the route 66 from chicago to los angeles and stopping where they feel like so they could be anywhere along the way.

so even if i fly out i wouldnt know where to start but we can hold back the funeral until they come back so at least thats positive

first nifty question

am i supposed to be able to swivel the wheel around and change the f setting from 1.8 to 22.

i cant seem to be able to do it or do i just alter it in manual ?

Have you set the camera on "A" Apature priority? Or " M" Manual which lets you set both shutter speed and apature ? Either will work

but what about the dial on the lens or does it just stay as it is and the numbers are just cosmetic.
