Re: Canon 550D and CS5

I have tried all I can think of but it will not except 6.1.4.

If anyone can think of a way I can get raw files to load from my Canon 550D to CS5 please let me know.

Thanks Ken. I wanted to try and shoot in raw. If I can't do it it will have to be jpeg all the way.

Re: Canon 550D and CS5

Thanks for the welcome Skyline.

Have you tried re-installing Photoshop as files can go astray or corrupt when you try to install updates.
Your camera should have worked in the latest version of CS4 according to Adobe Labs.#
Did you try to install update manually first time or through the HELP menu - Updates ?

I know me and Grumpy spent ages on the phone trying to get his Photoshop to work and eventually he did re-install it and it worked fine after a couple of attempts
I know in the past manually installing can be a pain and if you have manually installed it before some of the files stay embedded and wont let auto install work.

If you re-install, first remove any trace of the program files and DNG converter and stuff like that, they do hang about hidden from view.
