Now I can't decide which I like best 
but I am leaning towards the second as its very clean cut if that makes sense.

Yes the second is much more practical , and professional
and clean looking but I love the first, because it is flambouyant and over the top, and pretty

LOL right let me tell you what being done
Think of a 5x7 photograph, wrapped in white tissue paper with my logo (just the font) printed in pale gold or brown, sealed with #1 or #2 sticker.
On the back (of the print) it will have the same logo but with my contact details).
Now pop the print and tissue paper inside a chocolate brown box with logo #1 or #2 on the top left corner and its ready to go...
Now which one do you think?

Sorry I am always going to choose no 1 because I like the design, it is over the top, but I like it!
The second one is more subtle and professional, but sorrrrrrrrrrryyyyy..... SAFE
Go with what the majority chooses, as I personally will choose the more over the top than the safer option, but that is my personal taste so go with what the majority chooses

I like the non-floral one better. Its clean, stylish, and there is less going on.

Why don't you do a bit of both? Then you can judge for yourself which your clients might prefer!
