I love to see a group of starlings in the sun they are iridescent and I think one of our most colourful birds.

As to the shot Zounds, well done, I know that is not easy, you are so excited at the possibilities, knowing you have to be quick and worried you will either get the settings wrong in your haste or the bird will be long gone. In this case you have the bird and it is well shot, agree may be better off centre.
