I think it is fine, like the last crop as well. The Sigma 105 it not a bad lens at all, ideally a little more dof to get the whole insect but it is a good shot and I would be pleased with it. Like Bob to my old eyes only the bum is soft the wings look fine.

Meant to say that pure reds are very difficult to capture without looking OTT so you did well with that alone, a flash may well have caused a colour problem.
