Re: Baby Lily - Tiny fingers and toes

Thanks Rach, I have one like that of me and Tia, I think my Dad took it, but it is one of my fave pics I have too.
This will definitely be informaljust going to go with the flow, and hope some turn out okay. I know the sort of thing I want to take , and I am spending so much time researching etc, but at the end of the day, that could all go out of the window with a newborn

Feeling a mixture of excitement and dread TBH xx

Re: Baby Lily - Tiny fingers and toes

Sorry all - I have just got back to Cyprus and was having a bit of an off day - iin a bit of 'discomfort', readjusting, etc..... I hate leaving my daughters in the UK.

I do stand by what I posted though - and will continue to post comments. My understanding was that Moonie WANTED feedback; I have a personal policy of being honest with people, obviously in the most sensitive and constructive way I can. I've seen Moonie's other work - and know she can produce much better work. My comments reflected that.

With prints that I have sold, I always ask myself, could I do better, would I pay for it? So I am critical of my own work too - so should we all be.

Anyway.....group hug and all that. Keep experimenting and posting Moonie, I'm sure you will produce some great prints in the end.

Re: Baby Lily - Tiny fingers and toes

No probs Jack - we understand things are far from easy for you at the mo. Heck if I was in that position I don't think we'd have any members left - I'd have scared them all away

Re: Baby Lily - Tiny fingers and toes

Personally I am not a baby person but think I can understand that Mothers and parents would like shots of the baby from a very young age.

Would think that people will want different sorts of shots and once you have a few under your belt you will be able to show the shots to the prospective client and judge from their response which type of shot appeals to them most.

Until Suzi is in this position I would suggest that she takes many different shots from the expected to the arty and many in between, that way the parent will find something to please and Suzi will have a portfolio of different shots to show the next Mum to be.
