Nevertheless, the idea is a good one, composition could be improved to show off such a pretty (and hopefully very much alive) young lady much better. Nice lighting, but a busy background.

No, this one looks wistful. the light is nice and as usual the model is lovely the only thing that grates for me is her hand, it look very large in comparison and because she is playing with her hair a little bit science fiction. You have not tagged so I don't know what lens you used but would guess it may have been a wide angle.

it was my fixed 50mm lens, maybe I could counteract it by darkening it a bit.

That surprises me, thought the large appearance of her hand may have been the lens but I would think a 50mm would have been ok, don't know sorry have to wait for one of the proper photographers to give you their opinion I can only give my gut feelings.
