Could have a designated person to send nominations to and they create a poll at the end of the week for everyone to vote on?
Have Sunday as the end of the nomination week and run the poll for a day or 2.

Have to say the picture in no5 of the people on the beach at sunset is stunning, and I don't often say that.
It brings back so many memories of my youth in Cornwall , UK , when I used to go evening rod and line fishing on a beach very similar to the photo.
