You photograph them so well Cakey, lovely images here......I know what your saying though about them not floating your boat. Me either at one time unless it was something unusual, or a Raptor 
But ive always loved animals/nature which does include a lot of bird and photographing them now, its the beauty of the birds i like to try and capture rather than setting out bird watching for any particular species.

Me either, could not give you their real names. No1 is a Dove of some kind, No2 one of the Thrush family....No3,4 & 5 no clue. No 6 cant remember

Got the books here too Cakey, bird books that is but hardly opened them. My father in Law was big into birds, even raced pigeons at one time so i was left with collection after he passed. The books just gather dust on the shelves though.
