Winter mushing....

Not sure if this should be in pets or in sport??? but it is a sport so i'll just stick them here...

Just a couple of shots from todays event in Wareham Forest... Will get some more tomorrow!! (taken with the new lens!!! )

This one is a little blurry, i was a little too far away and had the wrong shutter speed!!!

Re: Winter mushing....

Are these huskies or malmutes ? nice shots btw particularly the last one, bit of movement adds to the image I think, bit more dynamic.

Re: Winter mushing....

Sibes? I see, so have there coats been shorn or do they naturally lose then? would have thought they would have denser coated ( forgive the grammar ) given that the winter is upon us ?

No they certainly wouldn't have been clipped It is possible they are loosing their coats at this time of year (I know of a couple of Mals who are currently out of coat) although looking at the pictures their coats seem fine to me . They are a double coated breed but Sibes do have a shorter coat than most Mals. You have probably seen more photo's of Mals than Sibes on here as the majority are Mal owners
