Magpie, Chaffinch and Goldfinch

Took a run down to Locwinnoch RSPB today and joined. I've been promising myself to go there for ages but of course I never got round to it until today.
I must say it's an excellent place for bird watching and photography as they have a dedicated photography hide (which I was in) and normal hides along the trails. They also have a shop which sells everything from birdseed to photography tripods bino's etc and of course they have a drinks machine and snacks too. I was very impressed with the place although I left it a bit late in the afternoon to visit and could not see everything they have there including the trails/walks.

1)This was my first visitor while I was sitting in the photography hide.

1/1000sec, ISO-640

2)Goldfinch 1/1000sec, ISO-2000 cloned out a couple of twigs on this one.

3)Chaffinch 1/1000sec, ISO-1250

4)1/1000sec, ISO-3200

Cracking shots DJ. They have some bird watching hut thingies on the taffs well trail down here too - only thing is I don't like the ideas of the thought of lots of spiders (it's dark in them and you just KNOW there are tonnes in there even if you can't see any )
