Re: Butterflies & Caterpillars

First of all bloomin' lovely, My fave are the two Peacock butterfly pics, fo rno other reason, than they are my fave butterflies, and one of the few that I know the name of I really love the last shot

Thanks for the names, you are like David Attenborough, it was a Red admiral I chased round the garden today with my new lens, trying to carch a pic You noticed I said trying did not get one decent one, it kept flying off

Thank you

It's called patience and I also stalk them until they land, or swear at them for going out of bounds

Thanks MS, I'm sat here giggling at the thought of you chasing one round the garden, following it's every move, now there's a video I'd pay to see

Re: Butterflies & Caterpillars

Yes - I'd be OK if I could by a bottled version of patience but no-one seems to ahve brought it out yet!

It doesn't help having the dogs running round either!

Re: Butterflies & Caterpillars

Only watch the video if they have one of those beep machines I got a bit angry with it in the end, and told it to beep off I think my neighbour thinks I have lost the plot
They have seen me crawl across the lawn to get to a robin, or the dogsand seen me laying in wet grass taking pics of bluebells or the best one talking to a pigeon , telling it to stay still and not move
I am sure the butterfly was laughing at me.

Re: Butterflies & Caterpillars

Great shots.

Our big Buddleia bush has just come into flower and usually attracts 100's of butterflys - hopefully I'll get a picture at last.
