LOL! I doubt it was the flash - been using flash for rat photos for many years without any reaction or ill effect.

They're so not 3 days old though! Look like about 10 weeks to me.

3 day old to me Z We got the from pets at home so you are probably correct with the age. I think they have to wait x amount of time.
