Re: Departure from the usual...

I do not think the little girl knows what to make of the entertainer giving her a balloon. And the little lad back left looking like he`s menacingly laughing, thinking to himself `Please pop`
Its telling a story, nicely captured BC

Re: Departure from the usual...

thanks for looking... realise I made a mistake on the smaller version here... too heavy on the PP around the edges, not quite sure how I did that, maybe layers when I compressed to jpg. The larger photoshop file vignettes differently.

The girl is being handed a spinning ball...holding her finger out and he places the ball on her finger. Tried to capture the spinning ball hence the bit of movement blur, but I was also trying to keep the aperture pretty wide for shallow dof.

Re: Departure from the usual...

Ahh thats what it is..... Need to wear my specs next time .

Even though it maybe a little heavy around the edges it does not take much away from the image, your eyes still get drawn to the center.

Re: Departure from the usual...

I see the spinning ball! Fantastic expressions caught, and really does tell a story. Not overly fond of the outside white edges, but as you say, it was a mistake. Like this one very much Stu <3

Re: Departure from the usual...

You've caught that well. As Zoundz said you see the spinning ball.

Re: Departure from the usual...

Love the capture, and the moment , not keen on the heaviness of the vignette, but you've already mentioned it anyway.
