Re: Starling and Greenfinch

Starlings - Absolutely love it - cracking shot.

Greenfinch - we don't get these in the garden so I'm a bit jealous.

Sedge Warbler - might be a tad soft ? but still great.

Re: Starling and Greenfinch

Thanks Phil

I checked the original (RAW) file of the Sedge warbler and it seems pin sharp at 100%, at least it's eye is. It was shot @ f5.6 . Here is a screen grab of the RAW file loaded into Canon's DPP

Re: Starling and Greenfinch

A great set I like them all, the Sedge warbler definitely looks sharper in your screen grab. I'm not entirely convinced about the quality coming from flickr at times.

Re: Starling and Greenfinch

The starling feeding its young is fantastic.
I got a couple of pics the same a few days ago, but no where near your quality.
