Kinlochleven and Rannoch moor

A couple of shots from Glencoe and Kinlochleven last week.

1)Lone tree in Rannoch moor f22, 115sec, ISO100 Polarisor and ND used


2)Kinlochleven f8.0, 30sec, ISO 100

The first one is an absolute corker DJ!

Composition is beautiful, and I love the way the three bands of cloud mimic the three main branches on the tree.

That tree has become quite well photographed - I also liked the way the cloud pattern matches the shape of the tree.

Seriously love the first shot,it's obviously freezing but there is a warmth to it in the light, really nicely done. Agree about the branches emulating the cloud streaks, obviously pressed the shutter at just the right time xx
