All in camera, only editing was sharpening and the border.

What is what? Bokeh or the picture...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh

the image is a CD placed in the light of a window to get the rainbow effect going on, i then cut out a circle just bigger than the diameter of my lens, cut a heart shape out in the middle of it and stuck it to then end of the lens. Using a pipette i placed water droplets in rows around the center of the CD and took a photo

I can't make out a heart shape either, but think it's a very fetching image! Lovely!

Re: I "heart" Bokeh!

This is a tough one to comment on, yes I like the overall colour effect and how you got it, not so sure about the droplets. Just a thought if you are going to attempt a retry, what about using different colours as the droplets instead of all being clear water. If I may suggest, try doing the same but use drink cordials neat such as one of orange aid - lemon aid- cherry aid etc.

Re: I "heart" Bokeh!

Laura/Jols -Look on the droplets, each one has a heart inside the bokeh

Re: I "heart" Bokeh!

I do see it now, but I don't think it's distinct enough to make a deal out of it if you get me - doesn't detract from the fact that this is such a pleasing image though! I love it!
