This Year's Toys
They claim that the older the boy the better the toys. I buy my own toys and must admit I love each and every one. In 2009 I bought a new 2008 Triumph Rocket III Tourng motorcycle, a 2009 Piaggio BV250 Touring scooter, and a 2009 Pur Smart ForTwo car.
I got myself a Nikon D90 camera, a Manfrotto heavy duty tripod, joystick head & Really Right Stuff L-plate for that D90. I also bought a Manfrotto Heavy Duty Monopod to carry on the scooter & motorcycle.
Add also the purchase of Photoshop CS4 and Kelby Training for a year and i have plenty to keep me busy in the Winter months that make getting out so challenging.
It's been a good year and I hope next year will be as rewarding.

Sounds like you've had a fruitful 2009 Bob - here's hoping 2010 is as fruitful!
For me, the best toy of 2009 was our little car finally being sorted, and one of us *ahem - not me!* being abole to drive it!
